The Seniorsfirst Foundation solicits, receives, manages and disburses donated funds for the benefit of Kirkhaven, Valley Manor and Seniorsfirst Services. As a 501c3 not-for-profit organization, all donations are eligible for tax deductions. With access to one of the oldest and largest foundations in the United States (Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) Foundation), we can match interested donors with a variety of very attractive estate planning instruments such as gift annuities and pooled income funds.
Tele-Health: Kirkhaven’s Newest “Physician” Makes House Calls
The newest “member” of Kirkhaven’s medical team is “Doctor Rob Ott”—a fully equipped tele-heath cart complete with monitor, camera, audio, internet & accessories to enable remote point-to-point consultations between residents at Kirkhaven and our physicians offsite.
The tele-health program is designed to minimize the inconvenience of transporting residents offsite for physician consultations. Now, many of these consultations can be conducted from the comfort of the resident’s bedside via tele-health. We are in the early testing and implementation stages of this exciting program, but expect it to grow as we acquire experience with the equipment.
The purchase of this technology was made possible through the generosity of your donations to the Kirkhaven Annual Appeal and a $12,500 grant from Daisy Marquis Jones Foundation.
THANK YOU!
